Ben and I actually went to middle school together and grew up a few blocks away from one another. I think even once in 7th grade, we dated for a total of 24 hours.

We remained friends all through middle school, I was best friends with his neighbor, so we would always be hanging out in her basement and having secret sleepovers. We also attended the same high school, and would always be friendly, although nothing more happened until many years later in early 2019.

We ran into each other at a concert (music events would always be a place we would run into each other over the years!), and from there continued to bump into each other, which got him on my mind ;) 

I finally invited him to a concert, just the two of us, and from there we just didn't stop hanging out! During this time of reconnecting and early stages of dating, I was planning on moving to San Diego. A few months after we started officially dating, I packed up my car and moved to the other side of the country. We did long distance for 9 long months, but sooner than expected, Ben moved and met me in San Diego!

Since then, we have been enjoying our little California bubble, exploring a new city and falling more in love. And we are so excited to get married!

We have chosen a destination wedding in Mexico because we want all our friends and family to be able to spend more than just one night together - having fun and most importantly, RELAXING!!!  Truly, we just want our guests to be able to take the MUCH DESERVED time off of the daily grind, to come together, and have a good time.
