Our love story
We need to go WAY back to the summer of 2010 to tell our love story, while we have known each other for many years, growing up in the same town and reconnecting at a family bonfire, there was absolutely no denying our connection. The stars aligned, a friendship then relationship quickly blossomed, and a love neither one of us knew we needed, was right there in front of us. From casual dating to head over heels courting. Five years flew by with us merging homes with Melayna & Lucy (our first kitty), then quickly added Sasha (bonus kitty) to our crazy little family. Throughout these years we enjoyed home remodeling projects, cooking and dancing around the house or just sitting by the fireplace planning for the future, along with countless vacations and getaways.

Josh and Melayna are cut from the same cloth when it comes to keeping secrets. Josh included Melyana in designing a custom engagement ring and on Christmas morning in 2015 after opening presents, Josh staged Melayna taking pictures of the two of us in front of the Christmas tree, which turned out to be a video of him getting down on one knee and asking Angela to marry him. After the total shock and surprise of “Is this real?” Of course, without a doubt, Angela said yes! While we knew neither of us would be in any hurry to plan a wedding, because sometimes when it works it just works, neither of us knew it would take almost another 10 years to plan and have this wedding.

We chose a destination wedding because we wanted more than just one day with family and friends, especially now that we live in Texas, and we both love traveling together as a couple, with Melayna, or including family and friends. While Vegas, mountains and beaches within the United States, Punta Cana or Mexico have always been our go to, we cannot wait to add another destination from our wish list. We have wanted to visit Cabo San Lucas for some time and cannot wait to celebrate our union with everyone who can make it. Bring on those beautiful west coast sunsets and drinks with umbrellas. Let’s get this party started! See you in Cabo!!!
No registry and no gifts are needed! Your presence at our wedding is the only gift we need! If you are unable to make it, we completely understand and will post and share pictures for all those who cannot make it.
Josh and Angela will be arriving Wednesday, April 23, and staying through Wednesday, April 30. Please plan the trip that best accommodates a vacation for YOU! Come earlier, stay later, or make it a quick weekend getaway.
