WHAT IS AVAILABLE AT THE RESORT AND WHAT DOES ALL-INCLUSIVE REALLY MEAN?

how long should i stay?

You can stay as long as you would like. We recommend arriving at least 1-2 days before the wedding in case of any travel delays. The resort requires a minimum 3-night stay to quality for our wedding discounted rate. We assume most of our guests will stay 5 days/4 nights April 24th-28th or 7 Days/6 nights April 22nd-28th— but if you are looking for a different set of dates reach out to Danielle our destination wedding planner via the button at the bottom of this page for a personalized quote.

When should i book accomodations

ASAP!

RSVPs are due by October 3, 2024 and all reservations must be made by December 3, 2024 with final payment due by January 3, 2025. After your reservation is made a payment link can be sent whenever convenient for you and will be automatically sent on the first Friday of each month by our wedding planner, Danielle, with Paradise Bliss Destination Weddings. Click the link at the bottom of this page to contact Danielle, for more information

If you have not yet made your reservation but still plan to attend, we recommend that you book as soon as possible. This is a very popular resort that usually sells out!

Where do we fly into and how far away is the resort from the airport?

The closest airport to Hard Rock Los Cabos is the Cabo San Lucas Airport (SJD). The resort is approximately 55 minutes away from the airport. Transportation can be booked with Danielle and is cheaper if you book with others in our group. Danielle can assist with flights, if you would like, or you can use Google Flights or your favorite airline carrier.

Yes, a passport is required to enter Mexico (including Cabo San Lucas) and must be valid for 6 months following your entry date. Therefore, if your passport is set to expire anytime before October 2025, you will not be able to enter the country. We recommend renewing as far in advance as possible. If you have any questions please reach out to Danielle (contact information is listed at the bottom of this page).

DO I NEED A PASSPORT TO TRAVEL TO MEXICO?

Can i bring a plus one?

Absolutely! We understand that you are traveling a long way to celebrate with us, we want you to have the best time possible! Just be sure to RSVP for the correct number of people in your party via the wedding website

Yes! Hard Rock Los Cabos is a family-friendly resort. Since Cabo is such an amazing destination, we would love for you to be able to make this into the vacation you want! If that involves bringing your kiddos, feel free! There is a Kids Club on-site too for kids 4-12 years old. The Teen Club is the perfect spot to gather the family for air hockey, pool table, Xbox One, Board Games, and 8 arcade games. There is also a bowling alley ($) and tennis courts.

There are also plenty of adult-only locations on the resort for guests without children too!

What is the dress code for the wedding?

For the wedding, elevated beach cocktail attire, no shorts please - but sandals are completely acceptable. Think linen pants, shirts, and a sport jacket (if you like jackets). thin or cooler fabrics, and short or long dresses in comfortable summer fabrics. Stay tuned for more information!

For all Hard Rock Los Cabos restaurants the dress code is casual. Formal shorts or Bermuda shorts, dress shirts, polo shirts, or formal sandals. (No wet clothes, visible bathing suit, or flip flops.) Special events and dinners require more formal attire.

HOW MUCH DO I TIP?

Taxes and gratuities are included with your stay. However, I recommend going a bit above the general tipping policy, but ultimately that is all up to you, nothing is required!

  • Bring small US bills for tipping if you plan on doing so, this will make everything easier for you to know how much you are tipping at a time.

  • Housekeeping: $3-$5/per room depending on how they keep the room and if they do any little extras- like restocking the minibar with things you have mentioned you like, towel animals, little notes, extra towels, etc.

  • Bartenders/Bar Staff: If you are just going for a drink or two $1 is sufficient. If you plan on being at the swim-up bar, beach, or pool all day and want to keep the wait and bar staff coming back, tip heavy on your first drink, then tip again every few drinks or so. Start with a $5-$10 for heavy orders then repeat as necessary.

  • Wait staff: I recommend $5 depending on how great they service you.

  • Concierge: If you request dinner reservations, extra excursions, or just anything a bit "extra" it never hurts to tip the concierge for going above and beyond- they will remember you and may give you priority reservations!

  • Bellmen, transportation drivers: I recommend $1/bag unless the transportation driver acted as a tour guide and gave me insight into the area, suggestions of local attractions/things to do, etc. then I recommend $5 or more/per person.

Please feel free to reach out to Josh (330) 451-9131 or Angela (330) 933-6252 for any additional questions, though we are confident Danielle can also be your first contact for any questions related to attending this much awaited event!
