The resort is all-inclusive, meaning you’ll have unlimited access to food and drinks throughout your stay. This includes all 7 gourmet à la carte restaurants and 13 bars located across the property, including several swim-up bars and a late-night sports bar.

Guests may also enjoy 24-hour room service, daily maid service, endless daytime activities and live nightly entertainment, theme parties, oceanfront bars and entertainment venues, all taxes and gratuities, and complimentary Wi-Fi.

In short, nearly everything is included in your stay at Majestic Elegance Costa Mujeres, with the exception of spa treatments, golf, excursions, boutique shopping, and select upgraded accommodations.

WHAT IS AVAILABLE AT THE RESORT AND WHAT DOES ALL-INCLUSIVE REALLY MEAN?

Where do we fly into and how far away is the resort from the airport?

The closest airport to Majestic Elegance is the Cancun International Airport (CUN). The resort is approximately 45 minutes away from the airport. Transportation from the airport to resort can be booked with Danielle (*Transportation costs are cheaper when booking with group*). Danielle can assist with booking flights as well if needed.

Yes, a passport is required to enter Mexico (including Costa Mujeres) and must be valid for 6 months following your entry date. Therefore, if your passport is set to expire anytime before December 2027, you will not be able to enter the country. We recommend renewing as far in advance as possible. If you have any questions please reach out to Danielle (contact information is listed at the bottom of this page).

DO I NEED A PASSPORT TO TRAVEL TO MEXICO?

WHAT IF i WANT A DIFFERENT ROOM THAN WHAT IS CURRENTLY AVAILABLE IN THE BLOCK?

We have reserved different types of rooms in our room block based on everyone’s anticipated interest, but other room types may be available. Click the link at the bottom of this page to contact Danielle, our destination wedding planner, for more information

What is there to do in the area?

The resort offers tours outside of the resort at an additional cost, including swimming with the dolphins, snorkeling adventures, local market/shopping tours, snorkeling tours, sailing/sunset cruises, glass bottom boats, golf courses, adventure parks and so much more!

Danielle can help prearrange any of your excursions. For ideas/pricing, please click here. Alternatively, if you would like to wait until you are on-site that works too!

What are the wedding events scheduled?

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Coastal Formal. We encourage colorful, elevated summer attire — bright colors, florals, prints, textures, and lightweight fabrics are all welcome.

For women, midi, maxi, and formal summer dresses. Please reserve shades of blue for our wedding party. We kindly ask that ladies refrain from wearing white, ivory, champagne, or cream-colored attire.

For men, either a suit OR dress pants with a dress shirt and sport coat. Ties are encouraged, and lightweight, breathable fabrics such as linen are welcome. Please no shorts, flip-flops, or Hawaiian shirts.

HOW MUCH DO I TIP?

Taxes and gratuities are included with your stay. However, I recommend going a bit above the general tipping policy, but ultimately that is all up to you, nothing is required!

  • Bring small US bills for tipping if you plan on doing so, this will make everything easier for you to know how much you are tipping at a time.

  • Housekeeping: $3-$5/per room depending on how they keep the room and if they do any little extras- like restocking the minibar with things you have mentioned you like, towel animals, little notes, extra towels, etc.

  • Bartenders/Bar Staff: If you are just going for a drink or two $1 is sufficient. If you plan on being at the swim-up bar, beach, or pool all day and want to keep the wait and bar staff coming back, tip heavy on your first drink, then tip again every few drinks or so. Start with a $5-$10 for heavy orders then repeat as necessary.

  • Wait staff: I recommend $5 depending on how great they service you.

  • Concierge: If you request dinner reservations, extra excursions, or just anything a bit "extra" it never hurts to tip the concierge for going above and beyond- they will remember you and may give you priority reservations!

  • Bellmen, transportation drivers: I recommend $1/bag unless the transportation driver acted as a tour guide and gave me insight into the area, suggestions of local attractions/things to do, etc. then I recommend $5 or more/per person.

Your presence at our wedding is truly the greatest gift we could ask for, and we genuinely do not expect or need anything more.

For those who have insisted on celebrating us with a gift—or who aren’t able to join us in Mexico but would still like to be part of our next chapter—we’ve created an optional Newlywed Fund (click here for more information) . Your love and support mean the world to us, and we are so grateful.

Your presence if our gift

Please feel free to reach out to Spencer or Jill for any additional questions, though we are confident Danielle can also be your first contact for any questions related to attending this much awaited event!
