Where do we fly into and how far away is the resort from the airport?

The closest airport to Hyatt Ziva Puerto Vallarta is the Puerto Vallarta International Airport (PVR), sometimes also written as the Licenciado Gustavo Díaz Ordaz International Airport (PVR). The resort is approximately 30-35 minutes away from the airport. Danielle can assist with flights, if you would like, or you can book on your own. Transportation to/from the resort will be coordinated once we are a bit closer to our wedding date so we can share shuttles, if possible, to save on costs.

As a reminder, a passport book is required to travel to Puerto Vallarta and must be valid for 6 months following your entry date. Therefore, if your passport is set to expire anytime before mid-April 2026, you will need to renew your passport. We recommend renewing as far in advance as possible. Can i bring a plus one? Are children allowed?

Absolutely! We understand that you are traveling a long way to celebrate with us, and we want you to have the best time possible! Just be sure to RSVP for the correct number of people in your party.

What is there to do in the area?

The resort offers tours outside of the resort at an additional cost including zip-lining, scuba diving, snorkeling, horseback riding on the beach, sailing, surfing, jet skiing, and kite surfing. The resort is located very close to Puerto Vallarta's vibrant Malecon boardwalk and the charming cobblestone streets of the city's Romantic Zone — all with great restaurants, shops, live music, history, and more!

If you are interested in pre-booking an excursion reach out to Danielle for options, pricing, and availability.
