Our love story

We met in 2014 when Tessa trained Kailey on how to bus tables at Morris Country Club. Through the years of working together, we formed such a strong friendship that has transferred to our relationship today--even though Kailey was so shy, she barely said two words for the first six months of working together. In those years, it became more and more obvious to us that our love was deeper than a friendship, and our relationship officially started in our freshmen year of college, we know this information might shock some of you (: Now, 6 years and some change later, we no longer have to drive hours back and forth from Peoria to Morris just to hangout for a few days. We've created our own home together with our three troublesome cats and are both following our dreams in our careers. We cannot wait for you all to join us for a day we've both always dreamed of!

We said yes!

We got engaged on June 1st of 2023. We had talked about rings for weeks prior and how we didn't want something "traditional" for them. We picked out our dream rings and suddenly everything fell into place. In true Tessa and Kailey fashion, it was 11 pm, we were in our PJs for the night--including Kailey's Pizza Planet t-shirt. Kailey had designed a bookmark for the reader we all know Tessa to be with the big question written on it. She pulled out the ring and tears were shed. A few weeks later, Tessa finally got to give Kailey her ring (she didn't know it would happen so soon and the order hadn't come in yet, okay?)

This playlist will be a memory to look back on and they would love for you all to be a part of it. They ask that each guest submit at least one song to help make their playlist special!
